- Editorial
- Deek Technique - the 1000 series are a pleasure to work on, unlike the later models. It is much easier to progress from a DKW F12 to a 1000, but difficult to progress the other way, as you will only de disappointed. The 1000SP is a good car and can now be found at a reasonable price.
- Hard starting issues due to fuel 'roll back', rear wheel bearing failure, brake line hacks.
- The DKW 4=8 and the V four two stroke engine.
- The pioneering 1931 DKW F1, including several photos of the F1 racing cars.
- The story of Freddie, a chorus girl and two Deeks
- Letters to the editor
- The impact of air filters on standard carburetors
- Sir Alec Issigonis exhibition
- Two stroke cars from Czechoslovakia - once again Two Stroke contributors provide some valuable photos and information about the rarely known (in the west) pre-war two stroke cards from Aero, Zetka (Z), and Jawa. Includes a good series of contemporary photos. It's interesting to see these old cars were still active on the streets of Prague.
- Deek Mart
- Scottish (mis)adventures with a DKW F91
- Area news
- Photos from a club meet, a Messerschmitt KR200 and a Morgan V twin.
- The British Trojan car. The Trojan was a budget car powered by a two stroke twin engine mounted under the seat. The car prototype was developed in 1912, but went into serial production in 1923 through to 1936.
This is an archive of Two-Stroke, the magazine of the DKW Owners Club of Great Britain from the mid-1970s. Although I have no connection to the DKW Owners Club of Great Britain, the accumulated knowledge contained in these magazines is too important to lose, so I have created this archive so that a new generation of DKW enthusiasts can benefit from the lessons of their predecessors
